Modern Funeral Ceremonies & End-of-Life Services
Ceremonies that feel real, respectful, and rooted in who they were.
If you're based in Liverpool, Wirral, or the North West of England, I can support you to create a funeral, memorial or end-of-life ceremony that’s personal, meaningful, and free from rigid traditions.
Whether you're planning a cremation service, a natural burial, a celebration of life, or something entirely your own — I’m here to guide you through the process with calm, clarity and kindness.
Not all goodbyes follow the same path
More and more families are choosing memorial events instead of traditional funerals. This is especially common after a direct cremation, where no ceremony was held at the time.
Sometimes, grief needs space. If the funeral felt like a blur — or didn’t feel like enough — a memorial held weeks or months later can give people time to gather, reflect, and celebrate properly.
I also offer support with:
Living funerals (yes, that’s a thing — and a beautiful one)
Home funerals or family-led ceremonies
Creative and eco-conscious options for those who want something different
What I Can Help With

No templates. No assumptions.
✔️ Leading humanist, non-religious or spiritual-but-not-religious ceremonies
✔️ Suggesting alternative venues (from garden gatherings to woodland clearings)
✔️ Co-creating unique touches, like memory tokens, badges or rituals

✔️ Supporting DIY or family-led funerals with structure, ideas and resources
✔️ Recommending progressive funeral directors across the North West -
A Ceremony Might Include
A tribute or eulogy written with your input
Time for reflection, music, or personal readings
Quiet ritual moments, if you want them (candles, petals, bubbles...)
Elements of spiritual or cultural meaning — or none at all
Space for grief, memory, humour and humanity
I also create ceremonies for natural burials, baby and child loss, memorial services, and scatterings of ashes.
